Shenzhen Party is the leading website for expats living and working in Shenzhen China. It offers a range of services and support from night life, apartment, visa and jobs to Wine and Cheese Events. The company employs approx. 35-45 from its head office in Shenzhen, China.
As an Account Manager my primary job role and responsibilities were to make sales and help maintain the website system and write reviews. Sometimes I helped to correct the mistakes in some articles and rewrite it. Also, I’m responsible of handling the media cooperation. I’ve cooperated with some big companies like Live Nation and Damai.cn. By doing some extra work like Edm(Newsletter), Facebook, Mailchimp, trello and Mollom, I gained some valuable office work experience. I also help other sales team to support their work.
In this role I have been able to grow as an individual and my achievements include sales and editing skills and some Marketing knowledge.
Teaching Assistant (International Children’s Club) – 2013
International Children’s Club (ICC) is a club that provides a global experience to children under the age of twelve by exposing them to real-life international experiences and preparing them for a rapidly changing world. It focuses on guiding and stimulating kids to learn languages. It has total 3 branches in Shenzhen.
In the role of teaching assistant, I need to prepare all the paperwork, presentations and teaching material for the class. Interpreting is a must among kids, the parents and teachers so that they can reach a consensus without ambiguity. This also improves the quality of the class.
Assistant (Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center – Furniture Exhibition) – 2011
Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is a super large public construction with multi-functions of hosting exhibitions and conventions, business activities, restaurants, and entertainment events.
In the role of assistant, I mainly helped the manager to check daily schedule and arrange everybody’s work. I also needed to contact exhibitor for the details of goods and location and etc. to get things on the right track.
